Framegrab just works and manages to open files other programs won't

just the best kept secret. I feel like everyone would use this if they knew about it.

アートに加工する素材を作るためにずっとMpegStreamClipというアプリで動画から静止画を抜き出していましたが、手作業で1枚ずつなので300枚も抜き出すと疲れていました。このアプリでは自動で密度を指定して抜き出して保存できるので、作業が格段に楽になりました。
M1 Mac Mini 16GBで試しに間隔を2フレームずつにして10万枚抜き出して保存しましたが、何の問題も無く安定して動作します。
課題は・・H265形式での動画
変換できないことがあります。HandBrakeで変換したH265とか・・
開発者からの返信がありました；以下
HandBrakeバージョン1.0.7以前のH265への変換は"hev1"に変換されますが、バージョン1.1.0以降では"hvc1"に変換されるので「動画から写真」で利用できます。

Single frame export--file name should default to video file name.

音量バーを、もう少し「横に長く」して下さい。

sometimes it is hard to open - perhaps because of issues with new IOS? Thanks.

I use Fram Grab to extract images from my post ofcus files which ae MP4s. Often I find a better JPEG file than the on the camera offers. I really appeciate this - thank you.

I have hundreds of hours of video footage from a dash-cam. This app is exactly what I need to automate the extraction of stills (for a shared photo album). It worked flawlessly in my first use, which shows that the UI is well designed.

動画から静止画にまとめて変換できる！

まさに欲していた機能を備えたアプリでした。UIもシンプルでとても使いやすいです。

Issue with the frame grab button which was resolved quickly now working great again; my only bugbear is that all the controls should be together at the bottom of the app with the video controls so you dont have to pause and go to the top, kust a suggestion bt its working good apart from that

画像のトリミングを設定できるようにして欲しい！！

macで動画を画像に秒ごとに書き出せるソフトが全然なかったので本当に助かりました！
とても使いやすくて動きも早いです。
しかもファイル名が動画ソフトに入れてもぐちゃぐちゃにならないように設定できるのも楽で助かります。

If you’re looking for a simple app to grab stills from most common video files, this is it. When it opens, nothing pops up until you open a movie. Then, you have frame accurate transport controls to find exactly where you want to export. Click the Export button, set your flavor of image file, name, and save. It can’t get much simpler!

Using Quicktime to grab a video still can be a bit of a faff! All that converting from PICT format (why PICT?) to something Photoshop will read and with very little control over output spec. So Frame Grab does just that job - very simply and effectively. It doesn’t do much - but what it does, it does very well! Only had it half an hour and already had my money’s worth from it :) Thank you Tranquility.

No doubtly this app is good at extract images from movies. High quality!

not work in osx 10.8.4 appear in dock only and nothing else please update or tell how it work?????
